AN OUTREACH FOR CHILDREN IN BRUTAL CONDITIONS
The youth center in Santa Marta transforms the lives of the children in the Brazilian Favelas through collaborative social, educational and recreational program spaces. The design utilizes the existing soccer field to form a structure that is elevated across the site. The design can be utilized as a deterrent for violence, poverty, and pollution by providing proper infrastructure to the community.
